About Me - Rick Shelley
After seventeen years as a general manager for United Van Lines, I decided to put my commercial sales and customer service experience to work as a REALTOR®. I know the relocation process inside and out, and work tirelessly to help people looking to settle into this community. I know, love, and am very active in Sierra Vista—I've been here for eighteen years, so you can trust me to guide you through the home buying or selling process with knowledge and enthusiasm to spare!
I've earned numerous awards throughout my past careers, including commendations for exceeding expectations in the realm of sales and quality assurance. I carried that momentum forward into my career in real estate, completing five sales in my first seven months by working hard for my clients. I know how to negotiate deals that satisfy buyers and sellers alike. In the event that my experience (or we can just say "age," because let's face it, I'm old) does not provide me with an answer to a question, I am confident that I can find a solution.
My favorite way to pass the time—when I'm not heaping love on my grandchildren—is to take my RV out and have side-by-side off-roading adventures. I also enjoy cycling, reading, and patrolling as a volunteer for the Sheriff Department. In fact, volunteer work is one of my passions; I was a member of the Sierra Vista Rotary Club for thirteen years, as well as a volunteer with the Tombstone School Board. I take great joy in the act of service, and bring that same positive attitude to my work as a REALTOR®.
